Lead Patient Administrator

Location: Woking, Surrey

Salary £20,000 to £24,000

Due to continued grown of the IAPT service, an opportunity has been created to lead our administration team and be key part of our forward thinking NHS independent provider organisation.

Supervising the day-to-day workload of the patient administration team, the role holder will ensure admin duties are prioritised and achieved in a timely fashion providing coaching where required to provide a great standard of service to our patients and Therapists.

The primary purpose of the role is to actively manage the administrative processes of the IAPT service to ensure all the relevant documentation is in place, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for patients throughout their treatment from DHC. The Lead Patient Administrator will work alongside the Operational Lead Administrator to ensure that the teams Admin needs are met.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can provide direction and development of the team as well as the ability to organise administration for a high volume of referrals, identifying opportunities and implementing process improvements to improve efficiency and implementing effectiveness of the service. 

The successful applicant should possess excellent people management and communication skills as well proven organisational skills. This is an important and rewarding role as the admin team is the first point of contact for people seeking help with their emotional health. You would be required to liaise with patients, GPs, therapists and external agencies. It is essential that you possess good IT skills with administration and organisation experience.

Talking Therapies Administrator

Location: Woking, Surrey

Salary £16,800 to £18,500

Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

Location: Surrey

Salary: £23,023 (plus 5% fringe allowance) Suitable for newly qualified

Our Talking Therapies service is growing at rapid rate due to high client demand and we are focussed on recruiting and developing the brightest and most skilled therapists to meet the demand.

If you join us, you will be part of a team of PWPs, CBT therapists and Counsellors who aim to significantly increase access to treatment for people with depression, anxiety and other common mental health conditions, including those with Long Term conditions, in a variety of settings.

We wish to recruit PWP’s to work as part of the IAPT service across Surrey (locations to be mutually agreed). You will be enthusiastic, hard-working and have the capability to meet specified targets.

The post-holder will work within the DHC IAPT service to provide high volume; low intensity interventions to patients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression at Step 2 of the IAPT service. PWPs deliver a variety of Low Intensity interventions, including face to face, CCBT, telephone based work as well as group workshops.

DHC is a patient focused and pro-active community based provider and have strong links with both GPs and our colleagues in secondary care mental health. We have a strong commitment to delivering high quality community oriented services, and to working in partnership with service users, carers, health and social care agencies and voluntary agencies.

We are a dynamic, supportive and creative service, who provide a high level of training and supervision to all clinical practitioners at all levels.

We would like to hear from you if you are able to demonstrate the following:

• A qualified PWP with evidence of working in a Primary Care mental health setting

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively

• Able to work to deliver required performance targets

• Committed to supporting the mental health wellbeing of Surrey residents in our catchment areas.

The successful candidates will join an established team working to maintain DHC IAPT Service’s excellent reputation within our local Surrey catchment areas.

You will be supported by your Clinical Supervisor, Senior PWPs, IAPT Clinical Team Leader and be part of a team of trained practitioners.

In terms of benefits we use Agenda for Change as the basis of our pay structure and the salary we can offer is dependent upon experience. In addition to the salary, we can offer 33 days leave per year and access to the NHS pension.

CBT / High Intensity Therapist

You will be part of a multi-professional workforce that will significantly increase access to treatment for people with depression, anxiety and other common mental health conditions, within a community setting.

We wish to recruit High Intensity Therapists to work as part of the IAPT programme across Surrey as required, mainly working within our North West Surrey and Guildford & Waverley team. You will be enthusiastic, hard-working and have the capability to meet specified targets.

The post-holder will work within the IAPT service providing high intensity interventions. The post-holder will provide cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to clients with a range of complex problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective.

DHC is a patient focused and pro-active community based provider and have strong links with both GPs and other colleagues in secondary care mental health. We have a strong commitment to delivering high quality community oriented services, and to working in partnership with service users, carers, health and social care agencies and voluntary agencies.
